A major data breach has exposed sensitive personal information of millions, including usernames, passwords, email addresses, and login URLs. The leak involved a publicly accessible database containing an estimated 47.42GB of raw data, impacting organizations across various sectors such as Microsoft, Facebook, banking institutions, and national health systems. The database was discovered by security researchers who promptly notified the hosting provider, but the origin and intent of the data collection remain unclear. Information on the breach is limited due to anonymized Whois records and a lack of clear registration information for one of the associated domains. 184 million user records are now vulnerable.
