JPMorgan Warns Ethereum Upgrades Haven’t Driven Network Growth

Recent research from JPMorgan paints a cautious picture of Ethereum’s future growth prospects. Despite several upgrades, including the Pectra update launched in May 2025, the network has not seen significant increases in key activity metrics. Daily transaction volume and active wallet addresses haven’t shown substantial growth since these improvements were implemented. The bank highlights that while the Pectra update aimed to boost staking processes, enhance wallet features, and improve efficiency, it hasn’t translated into increased user engagement or transaction throughput.
