FTX Recovery Trust Releases $5 Billion in Second Creditor Payments

The FTX Recovery Trust has initiated a second round of payments, releasing over $5 billion to eligible creditors. The distribution covers various claim classes with varying percentages of reimbursement, ranging from 54% to 120%. This action follows the previous $1.2 billion payout in February and is part of the FTX’s Chapter 11 Plan of Reorganization.
