FTX Commences $5 Billion Creditor Payout via Kraken

The FTX Recovery Trust is initiating the second round of creditor payouts exceeding $5 billion, following the company’s bankruptcy in late 2022. These disbursements, starting on May 30, 2025, are being handled through Kraken and Bitgo and are crucial for injecting liquidity into the crypto market. The payout has the potential to significantly impact trading volumes as funds could be reinvested.
