S&P 500 Surges 6.2% in May: Best Monthly Gain Since November 2023

The S&P 500 saw its biggest monthly gain since November 2023, closing at 5,911.69 on Friday with a robust 6.2% increase. Despite rising tensions surrounding tariffs and the US-China relationship under President Trump’s renewed efforts, this rally was fueled by a new trade agreement between the US and the UK.
