NYT Licenses Content to Amazon for AI Training

The New York Times has entered a groundbreaking licensing agreement with Amazon, granting Amazon rights to use its editorial content for training AI models on Amazon’s platforms. This marks the first time The Times has licensed its content for generative AI applications. The partnership brings NYT’s high-quality journalism into various Amazon customer experiences like Alexa software and the company’s property AI models.
