Vietnamese Authorities Arrest Leaders in $394 Million Crypto Scam

The Vietnamese government has dismantled a major cryptocurrency scam, Matrix Chain, leading to the arrest of five individuals and recovering an estimated $394 million in ill-gotten funds. The operation, launched on May 28, 2025, uncovered fraudulent activities involving over 138,000 investor accounts and resulted in significant financial losses for victims.
