Solana Expected to Lag Ethereum in the Short Term, But Long-Term Potential Remains

Standard Chartered forecasts that Solana will trail behind Ethereum in the near future. While the bank expects SOL’s price to climb to $500 by the end of 2029, its short-term performance is expected to lag behind Ethereum. The report attributes this to Solana’s current reliance on memecoin trading, which may not translate into long-term growth.
