BlackRock Invests in Circle’s IPO: Potential $624M Raise

Investment firm BlackRock plans to acquire approximately a 10% stake in Circle Internet Group Inc.’s upcoming initial public offering (IPO). According to Bloomberg, the investment is expected to raise up to $624 million. The USDC stablecoin issuer’s IPO is set to price on June 4th. Circle co-founder and CEO Jeremy Allaire will be selling shares in the offering, as evidenced by a filing with the SEC.
