Major corporations have significantly increased their investment in Bitcoin over the past six months, shifting from seeing it as a high-risk asset to strategically positioning it within their portfolios. As of May 15, 2025, public company Bitcoin holdings jumped from 394,131 to an impressive 786,857 Bitcoins. This surge in investment is driven by the growing recognition of Bitcoin’s potential as a hedge against inflation and its increasing use in various business models. A recent report highlights this trend, revealing that companies amassed over 392,000 Bitcoins during this six-month period, averaging an acquisition rate of approximately 196,363 Bitcoins every quarter.
