Pakistan Allocates 2 GW of Power for Bitcoin Mining & AI Centers

Facing high electricity costs and surplus energy production, Pakistan is deploying 2,000 megawatts of power to support both bitcoin mining and data centers powered by artificial intelligence (AI). This initiative aims to monetize the country’s excess energy while fostering technological growth. The project, coordinated by the Pakistan Crypto Council, will create new jobs and attract foreign investment to the sector.
