Pakistan Allocates 2,000MW for Bitcoin Mining and AI Centers

Pakistan is set to leverage its surplus energy capacity to bolster its digital economy. The government has allocated 2,000 megawatts of electricity specifically for Bitcoin mining and artificial intelligence (AI) data centers, according to Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb. This initiative is part of a larger strategy to attract foreign investment and foster high-tech job creation in the country.
