The XRP Ledger has just undergone a significant upgrade, introducing batch transactions that streamline transaction management. This feature, enabled by the latest XLS-56d amendment, allows users to bundle up to eight transactions into a single operation, improving efficiency and speed. According to RippleX’s senior software engineer Mayukha Vadari, this update will be included in the upcoming Rippled 2.5.0 release, with benefits for both developers and users. The Batch Transactions system supports all transaction types and features atomic transaction capabilities. This new capability unlocks a wealth of possibilities as it supports smart transaction dependencies within each bundle, enabling innovative use cases.
