Cetus DEX Hack: $260 Million Stolen in SUI Exploitation, Token Plunges

A major exploit has rocked the Cetus decentralized exchange on the Sui blockchain, resulting in a staggering $260 million loss. The attacker exploited the platform’s liquidity pools using fake tokens to manipulate internal balances and drain real SUI and USDC assets. This incident has triggered a sharp decline in the SUI token price, while other associated tokens also experienced significant losses.
