Cecilia Skingsley Steps Down From BIS Innovation Hub Early

Cecilia Skingsley, who led the BIS Innovation Hub since September 2022, will leave her post two years ahead of schedule. Her departure follows a broader leadership reshuffle at the Bank for International Settlements. Skingsley’s role was instrumental in expanding the Hub to support central banks in adopting new financial technologies, including central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).
