Unicoin Execs Face Charges in $100 Million Cryptocurrency Fraud

Former executives of Unicoin, a cryptocurrency company, are facing charges for allegedly misleading investors about the legitimacy of their token offerings. The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has filed a complaint against CEO Alex Konanykhin, former President Silvina Moschini, and former Chief Investment Officer Alex Dominguez, alleging they falsely promoted Unicoin’s rights certificates and stock using fabricated asset backing claims.
