Tesla Employees Shouldn’t Bear Political Costs, Says German Official

Daniel Keller, the Economy Minister of Brandenburg, Germany, expressed concern that Tesla workers shouldn’t be penalized for Elon Musk’s political views. He emphasized that separating the factory’s performance from Musk’s personal beliefs is critical. The Grünheide plant, home to Tesla’s only European factory, employs 11,000 individuals, many of whom are local residents. However, sales in Europe have dropped since Musk took an active role in politics and endorsed right-wing parties, including the AfD, during the recent German election campaign.
