Printer Driver Exploits: New Crypto Theft Threat Emerges

A recent cybersecurity threat has emerged in the cryptocurrency world, potentially compromising user funds from popular wallets. MistTrack, a web3 platform focused on cybersecurity, revealed a new exploit utilizing printer drivers to steal cryptocurrency wallet information. This attack enables malicious actors to hijack users’ clipboard data while they copy crypto addresses. The attacker’s driver program then swaps the copied address with its own, effectively redirecting funds intended for the user.
