CME’s XRP Futures Witness Strong Debut with $19 Million Trading Volume

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) experienced significant activity with its newly launched XRP futures contracts, reaching a trading volume exceeding $19 million on their inaugural day. On Tuesday alone, the nominal trading volume reached at least $10 million. This launch has sparked anticipation regarding potential regulation and the prospect of spot XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) gaining approval in the United States. Nate Geraci, President of ETF Store, voiced confidence in this matter, asserting that a spot XRP ETF is merely a matter of time.
