JPMorgan to Offer Direct Bitcoin Access for Clients

Banking giant JPMorgan has announced a significant change, allowing clients to buy Bitcoin directly through their accounts. CEO Jamie Dimon made the announcement during the firm’s annual investor day, revealing that the bank will facilitate transactions without physically holding the asset itself. However, Bitcoin will appear on client statements. The move represents a notable shift for JPMorgan, particularly as rival Morgan Stanley already offers access to spot Bitcoin ETFs to qualified clients.
