Bitcoin and Major Altcoins Show 1.5%+ Kimchi Premium on May 21

Bitcoin’s trading on the South Korean Upbit exchange reached 148.05 million KRW on May 21st, a dip of 0.44% from the previous day. However, it still carried a notable Kimchi Premium of 1.74%. On global exchange Binance, Bitcoin was valued at 145.52 million KRW, demonstrating a price gap of 2.53 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 1.74%. Ethereum (ETH) also exhibited a Kimchi Premium of 1.60%, while other major altcoins like Solana (SOL), XRP (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Shiba Inu (SHIB) saw premiums ranging from 1.58% to 1.72%. These figures suggest that most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium of around 1.5% to 1.7%.
