Dubai’s Crypto Regulator Sets June Deadline for Updated Rules

Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) has set a deadline of June 19th for licensed digital asset companies to comply with updated activity-based Rulebooks. These changes aim to bolster market integrity and risk oversight while ensuring consistency across all activities. VARA released Version 2.0 of the Rulebooks on May 19th, introducing new safeguards around margin trading and token distribution services.
