A recent surge in activity on various Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chains is being reported. Nansen, citing social media posts, reveals that the number of active addresses across these networks has increased considerably over the past seven days. Base topped the list with 9.78 million active addresses, representing a notable 42% rise. BNB Chain followed closely, with 7.88 million addresses showing a 4.8% increase. Ethereum’s active address count rose by 9.2%, reaching 2.18 million addresses. Polygon also experienced growth, with 2.08 million addresses, reflecting a 2.5% increase. Notably, the Sei Network saw the most significant percentage jump, increasing its active addresses by 64%, to reach 1.46 million addresses.
