US Senate Delays Trump Provisions in Cryptocurrency Stablecoin Bill, New Vote Likely

The cryptocurrency-friendly GENIUS Act, aimed at regulating stablecoins in the USA, faces an uncertain future. Despite its initial rejection by the US Senate in May, it may see a new vote in the near future as senators work to pass a revised version. 4 key changes were introduced: provisions targeting Trump’s family involvement in the cryptocurrency industry have been removed.
