Robinhood Acquires WonderFi: Major Expansion into the Canadian Crypto Market

American financial services giant Robinhood has made a strategic move to expand its global crypto presence by acquiring Canadian fintech platform WonderFi for $178.9 million USD (250 million CAD). This deal will see Robinhood enter the Canadian cryptocurrency market, leveraging WonderFi’s existing infrastructure and client base.
