Bitcoin Trades at Premium in South Korea on May 15

South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit revealed that Bitcoin was trading with a premium of 0.85% as of 12:00 AM KST on May 15th. This represents a dip of 0.40% from the previous day’s price. On global exchange Binance, BTC remained at 144.07 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 1.23 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 0.85%. Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, showed a Kimchi Premium of 0.78%. Other major altcoins also displayed noteworthy premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.80%, XRP (XRP) at 0.85%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.76%, and Shiba Inu (SHIB) at 0.87%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium between 0.7% and 0.8%.
