BIS Warns: 90% of Crypto Transactions are Speculative

A new report from the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) unveils a sobering truth about cryptocurrency’s global adoption. Despite reaching $600 billion in cross-border flows, the report reveals that speculation is driving these transactions, with almost 90% of crypto payments being driven by short-term investments rather than genuine use cases.
