Dubai Embraces Cryptocurrency for Government Transactions

Dubai is taking a giant leap forward in its vision of becoming a global leader in digital finance. On May 12th, the city’s Department of Finance (DOF) partnered with Crypto.com to allow residents and businesses to pay for government services using cryptocurrencies. This landmark agreement marks another step toward Dubai’s goal of transforming into a fully digital society by 2026.
