Coinbase Joins S&P 500, Seeing Significant Stock Surge

Coinbase will join the prestigious S&P 500 index on May 19th, marking a landmark moment for the crypto industry. This makes Coinbase the first publicly traded crypto firm to be included in the iconic list of America’s top 500 companies. The exchange’s inclusion follows Discover Financial Services (DFS) being replaced in the S&P 500. As per an update from S&P Global, this change is effective May 12th.
