Coinbase and BSSC Launch New Blockchain Security Standards

Coinbase, a founding member of the Blockchain Security Standards Council (BSSC), has released four new security standards designed to bolster the blockchain ecosystem’s overall safety. These standards were announced on May 13, 2025, aiming to improve trust and stability within the industry amid rising security concerns. The initiative builds upon efforts initiated in response to increased threats in 2024.
