Metaplanet Overtakes El Salvador in Bitcoin Holdings, Reaches New Milestone

Japan-based investment firm Metaplanet has made a significant move in the Bitcoin landscape by acquiring 1,241 BTC for $126 million. This acquisition brings their total holdings to 6,796 BTC, surpassing El Salvador’s national stash of 6,174 BTC and establishing them as the leading corporate Bitcoin accumulator in Asia.
