Lawmakers Introduce Bill to Restrict Political Crypto Endorsements Following Controversial Cases

A new bill titled the ‘End Crypto Corruption Act of 2025’ aims to prevent political figures from profiting off cryptocurrencies. The legislation, introduced on May 7th, would ban current and former top-ranking federal officials—including the President, Vice President, members of Congress, Cabinet appointees, and certain executive staff—from endorsing digital assets. Restrictions would also extend to their spouses and children for a period after term end.
