BlackRock Meets SEC on Crypto ETF Options Framework

BlackRock executives met with the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC) Cryptocurrency Task Force in Washington, D.C., on May 9th, 2025 to discuss critical aspects of crypto ETFs. The discussions focused on topics such as collateral, staking, and options. While no public statements have been made yet, this meeting could significantly impact the future regulation of cryptocurrency-related investment products.
