Scott Blasts Partisan Politics for Blocking Stablecoin Bill

Senator Tim Scott criticized the failure of the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for US Stablecoins (GENIUS) Act on May 8th, blaming partisan politics for blocking progress. The bill, designed to encourage innovation in the stablecoin space, ultimately failed to secure cloture on the Senate floor, according to Scott.
