U.S., UK Forge Trade Zone for Aluminum and Steel

The United States and United Kingdom have launched a new trade zone focused on aluminum and steel, as announced by former President Donald Trump. This agreement entails imposing a 10% tariff on imports of British goods, aiming to generate an estimated $6 billion in additional revenue for the U.S. government. Notably, the U.K. has also committed to purchasing $10 billion worth of Boeing aircraft under this arrangement.
