U.S. Banks Can Offer Crypto Services Without Prior Approval from the OCC

The U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) recently announced a significant change for banks: they can now offer crypto-related services, including custody and trading execution, without needing pre-approval. This decision, outlined in Interpretive Letter 1184, marks a key step towards integrating digital assets into traditional finance.
