Sei Expands Its Blockchain Architecture to Focus on Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)

Sei Labs is proposing a significant overhaul of its blockchain architecture, transitioning away from Cosmos’s functionalities and embracing EVMs. The proposal seeks to simplify the platform by eliminating the use of CosmWasm contracts and Cosmos-based transactions. This shift aims to streamline the blockchain for users and developers.
