Ex-FTX Exec’s Wife Argues Government ‘Induced Guilty Plea’

Michelle Bond, the wife of former FTX Digital Markets co-CEO Ryan Salame, who faces federal campaign finance charges, is challenging his guilty plea. In a May 7 filing, her lawyers claim that prosecutors deceived Mr. Salame into accepting the plea deal through “stealth and deception,” suggesting the government promised not to pursue charges against her.
