EU Weighs Countermeasures Against US Tariffs

The European Commission has launched a public consultation to explore potential responses to U.S. tariffs on goods traded between the two countries. These countermeasures could impact as much as 95 billion euros worth of American imports. The proposed actions are expected to target specific sectors including aircraft, alcoholic beverages, fish, automobiles, and auto parts. They might also affect American chemicals, plastics, electrical equipment, health products, and machinery.
