Bitcoin Trades at Premium of 0.19% on South Korea’s Upbit

On May 9th, Bitcoin prices enjoyed a premium of 0.19% in South Korea as per data from the Upbit exchange, where BTC traded at 141.83 million KRW, a rise of 3.03% compared to the previous day. Meanwhile, on global exchange Binance, the price stood at 141.56 million KRW, displaying a price gap of 270,000 KRW with a Kimchi Premium of 0.19%. This modest premium is in line with other altcoins like Ethereum and Dogecoin. Altcoin premiums also saw a slight increase to around 0.1% – 0.2%, showcasing the current market trends.
