Ford Responds to Tariffs with Price Hikes on Mexico-Produced Vehicles

Ford Motor Co. has announced price increases for three models manufactured in Mexico – the Mustang Mach-E, Maverick, and Bronco Sport – due to tariffs imposed by the U.S. government. These adjustments could reach up to $2,000 per vehicle. The move comes as Ford estimates that these tariffs will add $1 billion to its expenses by 2025. Despite this challenge, the company expects to offset a portion of these costs, aiming to reduce the impact by approximately $1 billion.
