Crypto Market Shakeup: $298 Million in Positions Liquidated

A significant shakeup occurred in the cryptocurrency market last 24 hours as a staggering $298 million worth of trading positions were liquidated. The brunt of this loss was borne by Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), experiencing liquidations of $98.45 million and $63.82 million, respectively. Market volatility played a major role in triggering these drastic losses.
