On May 8th, Bitcoin traded with a premium of 1.91% in South Korea, according to data from Upbit exchange. As of 12:00 AM KST, BTC reached 137.37 million KRW on the platform. This represents a slight decrease of 0.02% compared to the previous day. Meanwhile, on Binance globally, BTC is valued at 134.79 million KRW, resulting in a price gap of 2.58 million KRW and a Kimchi Premium of 1.91%. This trend also impacts Ethereum (ETH), with a slightly lower premium of 1.89%. Other prominent altcoins like Solana (SOL), XRP (XRP), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Shiba Inu (SHIB) exhibited premiums in the range of 1.8% to 1.9%, respectively.
