COTI, QNT, HBAR, and KIMA Partner with ECB for Digital Euro Project

The European Central Bank (ECB) has selected COTI, Quant Network (QNT), Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR), and Kima Network (KIMA) to participate in its pilot project for a digital euro. This follows COTI’s successful involvement with the Bank of Israel’s Digital Shekel trials. The selection demonstrates their expertise in privacy-enhancing technologies for central bank digital currencies (CBDCs). The ECB aims to launch the digital euro by early 2026 and prioritize infrastructure providers to support its rollout.
