Sky Plans To Retire Maker Token in Favor of New Governance Model

Sky is gearing up for a major change within its governance model, proposing to retire its original token, MKR, and adopt the new SKY token as the central driver. The transition will involve exchanging MKR tokens at a predetermined rate for SKY tokens, signifying the start of a new era in decentralized finance on Sky’s platform. The project formerly known as Maker is nearing completion of its ambitious DeFi upgrade.
