Ethereum Whales Drive Up Prices: Massive Transactions Trigger Rally

A recent flurry of activity from large Ethereum (ETH) investors has sent prices soaring. On-chain tracker Lookonchain reveals that three crypto whales have been making significant purchases over the past few hours, collectively buying over $7 million worth of ETH. 🎧 One whale, with the tag ‘0xDdb4’, took out a loan for $3.44 million USDC from Aave and used it to buy 1,856 ETH. Another address, ‘0xf84d’, borrowed $1.64 million USDC, then added another $2.34 million USDC to their purchase of 1,259 ETH. Lastly, a newly active wallet ‘0x69D0’ withdrew 2,250 ETH from Binance worth roughly $4.12 million. These transactions have triggered an immediate price jump for ETH, which surged above the $1,862 barrier on Thursday, May 1st. This surge comes after ETH bounced off a strong support level at $1,500.
