While Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies hovered near their opening levels with minimal movement, XRP experienced a decline of 2.5% following the SEC’s delay in approving Franklin Templeton’s spot XRP ETF. Notably, the meme coin FLOKI surged by 12% in the past 24 hours as it continues to capture attention. Ethereum is trading near its $1,810 level after a slight decline of 1.5%. Other cryptocurrencies like BNB and SOL remained largely unchanged. Meanwhile, Virtual Protocol’s VIRTUAL token took the top spot for daily losses with a decline of 10%, followed by PENGU’s 9% drop. Other notable losers include WAL, TRUMP, WLD, ONDO, and THETA, which all experienced losses of nearly 5%. 24-hour inflows to Bitcoin and Ethereum’s respective spot ETFs were positive with BTC reaching $172.78 million and ETH hitting $18.4 million for a combined total of $192.14 million today. Popular cryptocurrencies continue to dominate the trending list, with Alpaca Finance (ALPACA), Pundi X (PUNDIX), LooksRare (LOOKS), Drift (DRIFT), Biswap (BSW) leading the way. Meanwhile, FLOKI continues its upward momentum, while MNT, JASMY, CRV, and FLR show slight gains. However, VIRTUAL, PENGU, WAL, TRUMP, ONDO, and others see significant losses today, according to CoinMarketCap data. The global crypto market cap currently stands at $2.97 trillion with a 24-hour trading volume of $71.7 billion.
