A new report reveals that crypto hackers stole an impressive $92 million from decentralized finance (DeFi) platforms in April 2025. Immunefi, a leading blockchain security firm, identified 15 different platforms impacted by the attacks, marking a significant increase from March’s $41 million heist. The largest attack saw UPCX, an open-source DeFi project, lose over $70 million in a single incident, followed closely by KiloEx with $7.5 million stolen. Interestingly, the attacker behind the KiloEx theft later returned the funds after the attack. 💰
