Cryptocurrency expert Arthur Hayes has predicted that Bitcoin’s price will reach a staggering $1 million by 2028. Speaking at the Token2049 conference in Dubai, Hayes shared his optimistic outlook for the future of Bitcoin, citing increased dollar liquidity as a key driver behind this potential surge. He compared the current market conditions to those prevalent in Q3 2022, when fears about rising interest rates from the Federal Reserve dominated. However, the U.S. injected $2.5 trillion through quantitative easing programs at that time. Hayes believes even if Jerome Powell doesn’t directly intervene, arbitrage hedge funds could play a significant role by purchasing government bonds, thereby indirectly boosting market recovery. He advised investors to adopt a long-term approach and invest in both cryptocurrencies and stocks.
