US Court Dismantles Tornado Cash Sanctions, Ending Legal Battle

In a significant victory for the crypto community, the US District Court has voided sanctions imposed on Tornado Cash by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). This ruling comes after an appeals court determined that OFAC’s sanctions were unlawful. The decision effectively ends months-long legal proceedings against the controversial cryptocurrency mixer.
